The amount of cutting on this album turns what should be a simple track into a mosaic of many angles and edges. Essentially, a mirrored polygon of sounds, bouncing off one another in rapid precision, and yet somehow creating harmonics rarely heard. Metome loads a piano and slap bass, and scatters it across space, only for it to work in their favor and ours. Truly bliss to listen to when gazing upwards onto the heavens or a frozen woodrose, appreciating every little detail etched upon it.

This is an absolute gem of an album--a beautiful, magical work of electronica that invokes fantastical imagery and fills the listener with feelings of wonder, joy, serenity, and awe. Each song is intricate and intoxicating with its own distinct sound, so much so that they could likely all be sold successfully as individual singles. Picking a favorite from them was quite a challenge. In any case, it's easily some of the best music I've ever heard. I can't recommend it strongly enough.
